@piggo I’ve been working on a search engine that uses CLIP to search through your local images, it actually works really well for finding an image when you remember how you could describe it. The Ente.io people are doing something similar.
@piggo if you find out, please tell me. every one I tried sucked in some way. some people here run their own internet-facing or local booru, but that's a huge amount of work.
@piggo but like lain said, maybe using CLIP is the way to go. I successfully separated my special-interest topics with CLIP and also want to triage personal images with people from images without people. or even better tag those images with the correct names given I train a model to recognize my family. I think that's doable, but like you I lack the software to keep those tags in.
@kaia@piggo I don’t think you need to separate stuff, unless you really want to. You can get similarity to text or images without tagging or predefined classes, and the do something like semi-automatic clustering to get “albums” later.
