Jesus Christ, I have to work with a Google Form for work, and it's really important that we get as many responses as possible, so I don't want there to be a login wall, everyone should be able to fill it out. But there's no way to turn off "Requires sign in" in the settings!

WTF? Is this normal, how do I change this? I've tried making a copy of the form, same thing there.

@aagot @beecycling Thanks, but no, this is not correct. I have it turned off, and when I go to the share link (not the edit link) without being logged in I'm just met by a login screen.

@forteller I'm pretty sure it is off there. If you toggles the Limit to 1 Response to On, then it would require sign in. Without that turned on there isn't a sign in required.

It's not very well worded. But try toggling that control and it will pop up that sign-in to Google would be required.

@beecycling @forteller yes this is the correct answer. If you want to limit the form to one submission for each "person" they need to sign in. If not, then there is no sign in required, with the trade off that anyone can fill the form as many time they like

@forteller @aagot I don't think that's the same thing as the form needing sign in by people you share it with though.

@beecycling @aagot I need to be able to link to the form on a website and in an email, without inviting every possible participant manually. Feel free to check if you can see the form without logging in here: https://forms.gle/qrTpTgBLLfDaoe2L7
