     I find it increasingly problematic that we lean on a character like him.

     NASA has some real issues of mission creep, sliding project management and largesse towards contractors of which SpaceX is one.

     Artemis is just such a program by one friend's opinion. He considers it poorly managed and a shit show.

     @GhostOnTheHalfShell @GottaLaff The problems with Artemis management is arguably all around the traditional contractors (Boeing, Northrop Grumman, ULA) building the Space Launch System, which is *vastly* over-budget, ridiculously delayed, and will be unaffordable to fly. The SpaceX side of Artemis has run reasonably smoothly and cheaply by comparison.

     Musk is a terrible human, but SpaceX is by far the leader in launch on the planet. Unfortunate, but true.

     Musk's interference with military operations pisses off the military. It will take a few years, but don't be surprised if they fund an initiative to replace it.
