     @bnys eeeehhh I mean, that's true of the ending of the film, but I'm thinking more about the fact that you can watch the film and actually want to be Scott because he seems like a cool guy

     that vibe is present thruout the film, but it's a lot harder to read the book and still come away from it wishing you were Scott

     @technomancy the comic wasn't done yet when the film was created. that's why they absolutely diverge from each other.
