     @BethanyBlack I'm worried that that's going to end up being the next upgrade on mine too, since if I want a better CPU it'll need a new motherboard to support it.

     @moogal it’s such a pain! The one I originally bought I did because it was super cheap and it’s not really up to what I need. And I felt so bad getting this one as I have a feeling I’ll be completely upgrading the whole thing this time next year.

     @BethanyBlack Constantly chasing the future before it becomes yesterday :) back in 2020 when everything was mad, I decided to replace my knackered old laptop with a new i7 MacBook Pro... literally a couple of months later Apple pulls out the M1 which made it an instant relic.

     @mirrorsandstuff I try to make it as clean as possible. I want a new case as the access holes and grommets on this one doesn’t line up as well with the cables as I’d like

     Powers up fine. Just had to go through the fTPM reset faff, so now just do download the right drivers and I can get on with my work :)
