In my Nobel-Literature~Price~Winning~🚺~Book~Club we have reached #3 on the list Sigrid Undset and her master piece Kristin Lavransdatter.
#1 was Swedish Selma Lagerlöf and her debut novel from 1891 Gøsta Berlings Saga. A recommendation for everyone. Witty, sharp and with an unusual powerful female main character for its time. This novel stands the test of time. If you are a fan of Astrid Lindgren, this is a formidable predecessor. #books #litterature #reading #booktoot #book
