     Also don't buy the zojirushi just get a $40 Breville POS, the fewer buttons and features the better.

     @Sophistifunk @richzula you should be able to cook rice in your instapot or a $12-17 Black & Decker rice cooker if you only need a small amount. I saw two terabyte SSDs on sale today for maybe $60. Decent named ones too. Six quart instant pots are down to $70 so it's close.
