   @actualham I think the "which server?" barrier is real for a lot of people. And it is fair. Most servers are run by people with tech skills more than community skills, and Mastodon doesn't have strong tools for supporting communities, although in some sense it requires them.

     I really don’t understand why someone critical of Twitter/X or platform capitalism would be excited—or willing— to try BlueSky when Mastodon is Already Right Here. What am I missing?
