this is really difficult to discuss, due to the current landscape of vocabulary & associations, and still:

i think that by too closely associating all senses of "goal-orientation", "achievement", and "productivity" with jobs/careers/capitalism, there's a risk of discarding entire channels of pleasure, satisfaction, and fulfillment.
