   Got off phone call with my brother in Australia who told me a story about my (late) mother getting arrested for assaulting British Prime Minister while shouting "death to fascists”.

   My brother is notoriously full of shit. But my mum used to protest things a lot - remember her being part of the Greenham Common women for some period.

   Now I'm feverishly trying to search for arrest records or news events of when it may have happened ~50 years ago…

     There’s an Italian saying I like: “Se non è vero, è ben trovato,” which means something like “If it’s not true, it’s well fabricated.”
