   Is still referring to Twitter "the bird app" a residual flinch reflex by former (and current) users not wanting to be searchable there so gave it cute nicknames to replace "Twitter"? Or something else?

     It feels like "he who shall not be named" kayfabe that's a holdover from how one was algo-conditioned to post on an increasingly toxic Twitter.
