@DamienMarieAtHope that's an interesting question. I do usually think of it being much later, with the rise of later city states and first empires like the Hittites, etc.
@DamienMarieAtHope but your art is the first good "broad" view of prior periods and origins, and without a good overview of those periods it is much harder to see.

@DamienMarieAtHope when I visited the sami in Finland I was in some ways surprised by how distantly familiar their hunting practices and sweat lodges seemed.
