Women and girls cannot be silenced.
Even a simple gesture can make a big difference in someone’s life. It is everybody’s duty to know how to listen to a cry for help.
In the EU and across the world 1 in 3 women have suffered from physical, sexual or psychological violence. And it gets even worse in times of crisis.
Ending violence against women means fulfilling basic human rights. It means urgently bringing the perpetrators to justice.
The time for justice and equality is now.
