   Sane leaders, when faced with what is it now, 6 wide scale riots and sieges? by enraged civilians all over the west would back down, make concessions, and try a different tactic. But because the people currently running most of the West are extremely paranoid narcissists who think that any form of popular discontent is tantamount to genocide, they'll just double down and the dissent will become more and more widespread and violent.

     @NotImportant I'm also speaking in the past tense, there was or are riots in Spain, there was the stop the steal/jan 6 protests in the US, the riots and fighting in France, etc.
