     @lanodan you won't believe how much the psp's existence had me in disbelief when i first learnt about it
     i always thought that looking back on it, it was way ahead of its time

     @7331 Eeeh, sega gamegear, atari jaguar, atari lynx, … were also a thing.
     
     That said the PSP was less ugly looking and still looks pretty decent design-wise, quite like the DS. And it seems like it got a ton of games.

     @lanodan well, i only learnt about those a lot later
     and as you said, the psp looks like an actual product instead of some fiction that an exec at a company way beyond its prime had and which was pushed to production for a lack of more creativity
