   I think it’s also impt that we stay in order to do everythg we can to spread word about how dangerous a 2nd Trump term would be

     @GottaLaff @Colby AS is consistent and does seem to have convinced themselves that supporting the nazi bar is an important part of "resisting".
     They just look very wrong to me ...

     I have a lot more sympathy for someone like Brandi who is trying to build a career and dealing with the reality of all the other journalists happily hanging at the nazi bar.

     @Colby In this particular case, Angry is genuine. He’s been saying this forever. He has a Threads account and says he’ll stay on Twitter bc of the election.

     @GottaLaff Any argument about staying ignores the fact that to do so is literally paying musk to spread hate. The sooner 'good' people leave it to the racists and haters that love musk, the sooner it crashes. The 'good' people staying there are the very reason advertisers stay there. When it's just the haters left the advertisers have no excuses left except that they want to support the hate.

     The boomerang effect tells me that they won't make a difference by staying. In fact it could make things worse. Presenting facts to disprove someone's opinion just makes them double down on their opinion.

     I was follwing the #AngryStaffer for quite some time before Elmo kicked my out from #Twitter last year.
     I was often amazed about the introspective.

     However, even intelligent people do stupid things:
     it's the #algorithm, stupid!

     At this point, anyone still posting on #X ist complicit. Full stop.
     No exceptions, and in particular not for highly informed, well-meaning people!
