     @icedquinn I love how it works but it requires probably proprietary software like toonboom to do this, too difficult to do it using free tools

     @Moon kinda depends what you are doing. blender grease pencil is quite potent for 2.5D animation nowadays.
     
     people were using blender before vtubers were a thing too. the technique is just a mix of textured 2D polygons, shape keys and sometimes switching visibility of the polygons within a flip book (when there are major perspective changes.)

     @Moon I hope that someday we get some offline versions of these games ported to switch. I currently don't have time for blue archive or nikke but they have some cute waifu that deserve to be preserved for posterity
