Black Knight of the Mothman (boo_burymothman@noagendasocial.com)'s status on Thursday, 23-Nov-2023 12:29:18 JST Black Knight of the Mothman @Sophistifunk I forget the name of the material, but it’s a specialized rubber that can be developed for industrial printing. The acrylic block is a blank stamp backer, it’s see thru with the grid so you can line the shots up.

Sir Funk ?? (sophistifunk@noagendasocial.com)'s status on Thursday, 23-Nov-2023 12:29:26 JST Sir Funk ?? @Boo_BuryMothman maybe a link to whoever made the thing, if they have a product page that explains it? Or to the method you followed if it's a DIY?
Or not, it's not a big deal I'm just curious.

Sir Funk ?? (sophistifunk@noagendasocial.com)'s status on Thursday, 23-Nov-2023 12:30:56 JST Sir Funk ?? @Boo_BuryMothman you just paint ink onto the rubber bit and it's deeply engraved like a regular mass-produced one would be, but with the acryclic instead of a office-grey stampy handle?

Black Knight of the Mothman (boo_burymothman@noagendasocial.com)'s status on Thursday, 23-Nov-2023 12:36:46 JST Black Knight of the Mothman @Sophistifunk they print the design on the rubber, expose it with uv light with causes the affected areas to rise above the rest of the sheet. Then it goes thru another machine which peels the undeveloped film off the rubber.

Sir Funk ?? (sophistifunk@noagendasocial.com)'s status on Thursday, 23-Nov-2023 12:38:30 JST Sir Funk ?? @Boo_BuryMothman that's rad, it's almost exactly how regular process printing is done just with totally different plates and I'm guessing presses.
