     @moffintosh@berserker.town Tbh, I don't know. I've tried Rebased+Soapbox in the past (as a user) and found it very bloated, clunky, glitchy, and aesthetically jarring. This was a long time ago, however, and I've never personally deployed any Rebased instances myself. Your milage may vary. I suppose if an instance as large as poa.st is capable of reliable operation then it must be capable enough. Me, though? I'm a Misskey man. @dushman@den.raccoon.quest

     @moffintosh@berserker.town Soapbox is a FE for Pleroma. Rebased is a backend that replaces Pleroma and uses Soapbox as the frontend. Both are made by Mr. Gleason. poa.st uses it. I'm not a big fan of either Rebased nor Soapbox and think they're both kinda trash tbh. No offense to Gleason. @dushman@den.raccoon.quest
