In #France, it is forbidden to throw away #food in supermarkets. We have different solutions like the Zero-Gaspi = #zeroWaste baskets for 3 E in our village shop. I can feast now: I got 2 leek stalks, 4 chicory salads, 1 sweet pepper, 3 apples and 6 pears. 😊 And my dog Bilbo is happy, if an apple or a pear is overripe - he adores that.
Imagine, in former times (and in other countries still now), shops threw away these treasures.
