With #Gaza, I feel like we are on the knife edge this week between two futures. One with a #CeaseFire and hostage exchange, the hope for the global community and NGOs. The other with a ground assault on the south, driving displaced people to the border with Egypt and then into the Sinai; the depopulation plan espoused by the right-wing hardliners. I think it's a good time for calling and emailing your lawmakers if you want one or the other to happen.

Evan Prodromou (evan@cosocial.ca)'s status on Thursday, 23-Nov-2023 08:54:22 JST Evan Prodromou I am very glad that the Netanyahu government and Hamas agreed to a temporary ceasefire and prisoner exchange. I'm glad to hear that those children are going home. I'm also glad to hear that there are additional incentives to exchange more hostages for more ceasefire time. I am disappointed that Netanyahu has set a 10-day maximum for the ceasefire. I hope that this pause can extend into some kind of peace and rebuilding.
