@Squadalah_Man there were even issues with the old ones. The truth is that when you are making stuff that you inject into people, a lot of things can go wrong, and thus should be approached with the utmost humility.

@sickburnbro Even if I still believed in the old vaxxes (polio etc. I'm 50/50 on those) I wouldn't trust that Shaniqua wouldn't grab the wrong bottle and/or administer it wrong somehow on accident. I also wouldn't trust that Dr. Shekelberg wouldn't do the same as nurse Shaniqua, but on purpose instead.

@sickburnbro @Squadalah_Man yeah that's why we developed a medical approval process that was more stringent and expensive than anywhere in the world, one that was a serious pain to deal with and seemed to frequently prioritize an unreasonable level of safety vs rolling out medications or devices earlier and helping people
then the pandemic happened and political pressure developed and all those old rules that we were constantly reminded were written in blood got tossed aside
i used to get flu shots every year and had complete faith in the system even if it sometimes got things wrong but now that it is another political arm that ignores the rules developed by their better predecessors i don't engage with them or their output on a personal level at all

@Paultron @Squadalah_Man I never got flu shots because I knew they were bullshit to begin with.

@Squadalah_Man @Paultron we still have very limited understanding of the immune system, so giving people shots for a flu that might not exist seems like a dumb idea.

@sickburnbro @Paultron I got those once or twice, but I quit on flu shots before 2020. Back then they were at best 33% effective, side effects were you might just get the flu from it, and ????
I shudder to think how much worse the new ones are, especially since now its mrna bullshit with 4x the ???? side effects.
