   This is disconcerting. This is an isolated, unpopular government driven by extremists. It seems like the most dangerous parts of the coalition are ascendant. Along with Netanyahu's recent speech, I have diminishing faith that international and domestic pressure will prevent the expulsion of the Palestinian population from Gaza.

     @jamesmarshall that same article says that everyone in the coalition knows that if they fall apart, they'll never get re-elected.

     @evan the dynamics in Netanyahu's coalition seem remarkably similar to the Republican-led House in the US. I hope the coalition falls apart and Netanyahu is removed. No lasting peace is possible with him in power.
