   @notsludgebomb schools are one of the worst ways to learn anything :neocat_woozy:
   
   music theory is mostly just a large supply of suggestions for arrangements of notes that people felt sounded pleasing together. you still have to actually have the good idea of the song and the theory just helps guide what you should do with the missing roles so everything doesn't step over each other in the wrong way
