@vaartis @kaia Did it run dry on battery? Maybe it just needs 20 minutes in an outlet to survive a boot attempt.

@Nicro @kaia it does not boot into fastboot, recovery or the sony specific flashing mode, just flashes a green light once if i hold down the "hard reboot" button combo and that's all reaction I get -

@vaartis @kaia I have seen that before. Manufacturers need to actually implement offline charging in firmware, since the charging negotiations are done in software, many cut corners on that. But even then it should attempt to boot when you plug it in, the mode it boots for charging lives outside the system partitions and is hard to break. It might just not show the charging progress. Let’s hope you can get into a working fastboot-env and unbrick.

@kaia it was a gift so i'm very ashamed of just completely fucking destroying it like that. haven't even had it for a year. this never happened to me, it was never "it won't completely turn on at all or indicate any charging", i did not know that to even be possible
