   There's some C code in the wikipedia page for "Hilbert Curve" and I would like to propose this code be removed from the "Hilbert Curve" page and moved to the "How Not to Comment Source Code" page

     @bonzoesc we need "pair programming" where each haskell programmer writes their code in conjunction with a english literature major who does nothing but name the variables

     @mcc i think in that c snippet, the variables are named because a math nerd named them

     and the complaint about haskell is it's an entire language that only math nerds have ever named variables in

     You know what, I'm reflecting on this sample code from Wikipedia https://mastodon.social/@mcc/111434876107433544 and thinking that, as a C programmer, I have been *very* unfairly hard on Haskell programmers for giving their variables single-letter names
