   Maybe I'm behind the times but I just came across https://www.tldraw.com/ and it looks amazing. If you're familiar with #Miro then it's basically an open source Miro clone.

   In essence, an infinite digital whiteboard that you can add anything to.

   According to the docs https://tldraw.dev/ you can "use the Tldraw React component to embed a fully featured and extendable whiteboard in your app." That's very cool.

   One for the #UX / #UI / #foss people?

     That said, it hasn't quite got all the collaborative features that makes Miro so amazing for running online co-creation sessions, and it's not a dedicated design tool like Penpot, but I can still see it being useful for early-stage design work (wireframes), mind mapping, flowcharts, collation of visual inspiration, etc etc.

     Also project facilitation like online workshops, though it seems to be missing comments and @-tagging, which I consider critical for that.

     @simon_brooke indeed. Repo looks extremely active though, so I'm sure kinks will be worked out sooner than later. Nice to see such an active foss project!

     @julian I am not a developer so I've no idea really. But given it's entirely open source I don't see why you couldn't make those things happen even if it doesn't currently work like that. Whether it's built in a way to do that easily is another matter, of course ...

     @Brendanjones My first question these days for a new collaboration tool, more than what features it currently has, is: what's their attitude to inter-op? Is it like, "obviously we include a chat feature, our own little chat silo which we invented here, and obviously we provide a server for you to share drawings, our own little silo server"? Or is it like, "obviously we make it easy to plumb in to your own matrix chat rooms, and obviously we make it easy to plug in to your open file sharing protocol (WebDav, NextCloud) for sharing your drawings"?
