Nicro (nicro@toot.community)'s status on Thursday, 16-Nov-2023 03:33:54 JST Nicro @kaia Are FFP2-R masks not an option? Though I guess the idea are disposable inserts instead of washing.

kaia (kaia@brotka.st)'s status on Thursday, 16-Nov-2023 03:55:39 JST kaia @Nicro yeah sorry I did not give enough context. I'm working in a hospital where one needs to wear masks which gets uncomfy with time. I wish there was a mask like attached which was comfier and easier to talk through while having no valve. I know some models exist, but they are either super expensive or look silly. -

Nicro (nicro@toot.community)'s status on Thursday, 16-Nov-2023 03:55:41 JST Nicro @kaia Just wanting to make sure we're not talking past each other here: FFP2-NR are the disposable ones you buy in a pack and use once each. FFP2-R are sold as single items and can be washed in the sink/disinfected with alcohol around 50 times and reused. The "filtered" ones are a vanity-mask with disposable FFP2-NR inserts that give it the protective factor. Are you talking about disinfecting the vanity-mask?
