   @_rya_ Ich glaube, sie sehen Hamas als reine Freiheitskämpfer und damit jede Gewalt als erlaubt, als Analogie dazu wie die irischen (im Gegensatz zu britischen) Nordiren mit Gewalt zu ihrem Recht gekommen sind.

   Aber auch die gewalttätigsten Nordiren haben glaub keine Kinder und alten Leute enthauptet oder Teilnehmer_innen von Friedenskonzerten erschossen.

     Trying to adjust my moral compass:

     I understand that left people international are shouting „from the river to the sea“ in solidarity with people in Palestine/Gaza.

     I still think that this is a problem, because it indicates the complete destruction of Israel (and you can‘t sort the antisemitism out of that.)

     I get the anti-colonialism in the protests. BUT: I don‘t get the solidarity with Hamas. I simply don‘t understand why leftwing, feminist, progressiv people support an inherent islamic organization. There couldn‘t be any freedom in that.

     What am I missing at this point?
