   Mastodon is currently our third largest social network by following, after ex-birdsite and Facebook.

   I understand some of the philosophy behind Eugen & co's choices, but I do wish Mastodon didn't hide its referrers from Google Analytics, or at least that there was an easier way to make this optional.

     @oconnell Even if we didn’t hide the referrer in the browser, a lot of people are using apps to access Mastodon, which never send referrers. The best option is putting something like utm_campaign on the links.
