The IDF Spokesman in this video points to a random calendar at the Rantisi children hospital as "evidence" of a "hostage keepers' list" with "terrorists' names".
But the ONLY thing on that "list" is literally ... the days of the week;

Yeah, and note: ... NO tunnels, and ZERO weapon were found!!!

@MiBaWi Thank you. I was looking for sources for this ABSURD video. A group of us helped me to "watch" the full length version of this news footage after it came out, last night. I was not sure whether to burst out laughing at the absurdity, or crying for the deep shame of humanity on display by the IDF. Not since Baghdad bob, and Collin Powel's "proof" of wmd's had such an absurd thing been produced. So let me start by disassembling this "thing", and I am so glad it had been produced. 1/?

@MiBaWi For weeks the world had been "promised" underground command bunkers beneath hospital complexes. The world finally got it's first live view one of these so called "Hamas command centers" underneath the children's hospital that is near Al-Shifa. The Israeli army escorted an abc news crew among others all the way into Gaza city to do this, too... They may as well have saved themselves the embarrassment. 2/?

@MiBaWi OMFG. So they get this news crew to the side of the hospital where they had blewn a hole in the wall. Tunnels? Deep underground command bunkers? No. There is a raised basement, you know, like almost all larger building and houses have. The first floor of the hospital I guess is like 4 feet above ground level, which is normal for flooding risk, etc. And they bring this camera crew into this normal building basement. 3/?

@MiBaWi In one small room, that clearly was last occupied by children and used as a kind of makeshift classroom, with drawing and school paper type things, and some soft padding, was, the IDF spokesman proclaimed, the scourge of the world, the dreaded "Hamas Command Center", with four very rusty old broken AK-47 rifles simply dumped on the floor. Even one of the journalists pointed this out, I think was in disbelief. 4/?

@MiBaWi The Israeli army spokesman, sounding every bit like Baghdad bob, was shouting at the reporters "see, here, Hamas" (and then pointing at the rusty guns) "organized mass attacks, right from here, from under this hospital". This is absurd beyond madness! 5/?

@MiBaWi A little later they take this camera crew to I think the hospital boiler room area. There is some overhanging wires and ducks like you may find in a basement utility room, and a padded chair. "Hostages were held here", this same Baghdad bob shouted at the gathered journalists, apparently the chair somehow being proof, although it is not clear how. 6/?

@MiBaWi I do not know if I should be laughing my ass off at this point, or crying in deep shame and sorrow for all of humanity and what monsters the world has become. I fully agree with the Israeli government in this one respect, this news report must be widely seen, by everyone in the world.

@MiBaWi In summary, I do imagine that somewhere in the Gaza strip there probably are real Hamas underground command bunkers, it would make sense. It is also VERY clear that they are NOT under hospitals, that these hospitals are being attacked out of pure hate, terror, and vengeance. It is useful that the IDF has helped successfully document its own war crimes in this way.

@MiBaWi The question of "how" barbaric the attack of Oct 7th was is not even directly relevant, If one's answer to barbarism is far worse barbarism, that says far more about the barbarism of those claiming to be victims than it does about the attackers. To explain what I mean, I have to dig into our own history...

@gnutelephony Yes, as you say... there is nothing, realy nothing to deny. The terror on October 7th was an act of barbarism. But the Israeli army leadership is cleverly using the West's naivety to carry out its rampage against the Palestinians.
The war in Gaza is based solely on lies:
40 beheaded babies - lie, denied
Babies in the oven - lie, not confirmed
Raped women - lie, no cases
Israeli death toll - lie, corrected
hospitals - lie, no evidence
Death toll on the festival site corrected to 260, almost 100 of them were killed by IDF helicopters.

@MiBaWi millions of our people were killed and displaced by the US government. Yet if you talk to our survivors back then, or those today, having known what such suffering is, they would never wish to impose that on others, even as revenge.

@MiBaWi when I look at Israel, I think about other similar settler-colonial white ethno-states, like Rhodesia, and the "white afrikaaner" South Africa. Somehow these "survived", and the existing white population still often thrive, in these now democratic majority nations. Although I prefer a stateless solution, a single democratic Palestinian state of equal citizenship, from the river to the sea, could also succeed.
