      @ianbetteridge Of course, the halcyon days of reasonable foreign and domestic policy under *checks notes* Tony Blair, John Major and Gordon Brown, which have had no role whatsoever in where the UK is at the moment.

      @ianbetteridge would I prefer to live in the past, when the margins had not been quite so closely shaved? Sure, but the process to shave them was already ongoing then, and all of those people were instrumental in making sure that things got steadily worse.

      @pettter Hmmm, would I trade Britain during any of the years they governed with Britain today? Yes, yes I would.
