   It’s a sign of something that the GOP has two candidates ostensibly of south asian decent, and nobody in our communities fucks with them but they still get attention from conventional media. (And also that SNL has them both played by non-south asian actors & people don’t even care that there’s no one on the cast to do it or worry about whether that’s appropriate.) Meanwhile our actual voices are typically lumped into “other” or completely erased when talking about election impact.

     @Badger52 like all Republicans, she believes in persecuting women who get abortions. it is indecent to want to fund mass prisons to imprison women who get abortions, to plan to take away tens of millions of kids from parents who've had abortions, and to divert billions of dollars of funding to things like sonograms in airports to keep pregnant people from being able to get the healthcare services they want.

     @Badger52 you’re the one who’s being unserious. The Republican position demands mass prisons for women who have abortions. Are you asserting otherwise? Or do you not favor prison for people whom you assert are committing murders?
