It's hard to take abled cis-male white dudes in Urbanism talking about how they hate any "hedging" about some people not being able to go car-free right now when I don't see anything like as big a push to talk with disabled cyclists, urbanists, takers-of-public-transit...and even disabled people who rely on cars about ableism in infrastructure & policy and HOW WE GET TO an equitable urban environment and climate solutions. #Ableism

I want to see the mic being passed more often. I want to see disabled (and women and BIPOC and LGBTQUIA and poor and rural,etc) folks who are already on board with cycling, public transit, rail, & human-scale development being consulted by the largely hegemonic folks running various orgs and elevated (not just pumped for info, but given credit & given the floor in equal shares). #Ableism
