     As Dean Obeidallah reports, in a conversation he just had with Kristin du Mez, a scholar of white Christian nationalism, she warned that Republicans will increasingly reject democracy as they lose elections, with Christian nationalism driving the rejection.

     As she notes, white evangelicals have cultivated a self-image of persecution and are increasingly radicalized, believing God stands with them as they attack democracy.
