Something some well-meaning abled folks do is minimize disability. Instead of just letting the disabled friend/student/peer speak of how they're experiencing things, they'll quickly interrupt with "everyone's a little ____" "everyone's suffering" or "you'll overcome ___"
It's still the training of systemic ableism to short-circuit any real discussion of disability and ableism. Yes, disability is far more present than our society acknowledges, but you still needn't say "everyone's a little"
