   Apparently since it's been 20 minutes I need to remind everybody:

   US defending Taiwan isn't about keeping Taiwanese resources. It is to keep Japan, Korea, and Australia from developing nuclear weapons.

     @Sophistifunk I am not going to deny that keeping nuclear powers limited is happening, but what you are claiming seems like a non sequitur. What is the reasoning?

     @SystemsSam what is the reasoning behind a country with nuclear weapons not wanting other countries from also having them? Is that a trick question?

     @Sophistifunk again, I am not stating that is happening or not, but I am questioning what you think is the reasoning why the US does not want Taiwan to completely controlled by China.
