Robert Crumb (the comic creator of Fritz the Cat) completely disowned the movie. He absolutely hated it. In fact, he hated it so much he killed off the character and never spoke of him again.
I myself liked the movie, but now, many years later, I can see why Crumb hated it so much:
It depicted left-wing political activists as violent terrorists, who used mass murder and bloodshed to achieve their goals, one of them actually sporting a swastika.
@Mondobizarrro I dunno. "Helluva Boss" is pretty fucking awesome.
You want to see a completely dark and horrific animated film, check this out. It's a murder mystery where all the characters are cats. But it is NOT, I repeat, NOT for kids. (The book this was based on won all kinds of awards.)
@CosmicTrigger from what ive seen of helluva boss i like it. I also like harley quinn a lot too. My main point was moreso like that style of adult comedys that are almost intentionally designed to be ugly as sin
@CosmicTrigger family guy wasnt so bad when it was new and south park isnt that bad either but like every other adult show like say big mouth for example is disgusting (in more ways than one, and we arent even talking about the subject material here)
