Checking out the ZX Frankenstein 2.0 in this week's video, also the recent Impressive Demos and 2023 Games, wow! Not to mention geeking out over sound chips, the AY/YM and SID. I'm in a bit of a #Speccy mood today. watch here and enjoy: https://youtu.be/uqSxLLw6mPM
@MsMadLemon Aah, the sound of the Spectrum loading. Music to my ears!
Have you ever tried "Wham! The Music Box" on the ZX Spectrum? One of the early multi track (two counts as multi-track right?) music production programs.
If you've never heard of it before it's a "totally new and revolutionary music creating program" (Well so it says on the cassette insert.) Who knows, it could become your new tracker of choice!
@Paul_Jackson I have not heard of Wham! though you got me curious about it now. lol Probably dual track lol but does it use the AY chip and does it have MIDI? I know my toastrack has a MIDI port that looks like a telephone socket lol. "Who knows, it could become your new tracker of choice!"
😛 I dont feel like replying to that. lol it wont replace but I can always use it alongside.
"😛 I dont feel like replying to that." Heheh, fair enough. Honestly, I don't think Soundtracker Pro II needs to worry about being knocked off the top spot. 😄
After a little further digging, it appears that one of those fancy Spectrum 128K actually gets THREE channels! My 48K Spectrum only gets two. As for MIDI? Well, you may need to implement the patented MsMadLemon Stylophone hack to get that working lol.

We'll see what Maisy says to that first, she didn't seem too convinced last time lol! To be honest if the spectrum can run like a synthesizer, as in have MIDI in and AY, heck i'd use it in my music creation .. I'd just need to connect a telephone to it first and dial in my music.
