conclusions from me playing with AI-based image generation tool today (I used the one shown in attached pic):

-- forget laughing out AI that it generates images with 6 fingers instead of 5, now only MENTALLY RETARDED RETARDS and IMBECILES are laughing out AI because wrong number of fingers as this problem has been fixed

--- bigly improved also in area of showing texts in generated images, still a bit spelling mistakes

--- it's not as revolutionary as LLM but progress is yuge, soon videos

@teslanaut @CSB what do you use? I'd be interested in something that can generate art locally. Without dumbass restrictions.

@CSB You should really try offline local models. Much more stuff you can do. I made this by combining a bunch of generations on my PC using 1 model & generating it via changing different variables. Even had AI put them together into a GIF. The fingers thing was fixed a long time ago in the Open Source community

@ned Super easy. www.Pinokio.computer provides an easy way to install it and each program is self contained within their own Python Environments. The art generators are all based on StableDiffusion, which is the model. You can download more at www.CivitAi.com, all free. I use ComfyUI as the interface, it's very powerful but takes learning & playing around, very open to customize. You can also install just the base SDXL, which is their UI. Automatic1111 & Fooocus are also great & easy to use.

@ned There are some prerequisites. Have python 3.10 installed, latest drivers for your GPU (Nvidia is better, more available. AMD works on Linux). Have installed: pip, git, CUDA, Pinokio will get the rest, depending on what you install.
