@olmitch @Moon @adiz I had a slot machine as a child in my room and played a lot with it. Put money in, pushed the buttons, enjoyed the blinkenlights, and when out, I opened it up and got my money out of it for more slot machine playing.

After like a year I got bored of it and never felt any urge to gamble in my life. Maybe also because I observed first hand that you always will run out of money when playing one...

Now I can't tell if the same method can be applied to other things...
