   One of the best things I'm doing for myself is deploying my own servers and applications the way I want them put together. Also, allowing me to understand and maintain them. I could never get paying services to do anything for me, I'd just get ignored and things wouldn't stay updated or taken care of. If you want something done, or done right, you have to do it yourself.

     @adiz @picofarad I would say keep both, also if you really want to do matrix just use synapse.

     @picofarad@noagendasocial.com I'm very interested in dumping our IRC network for a Matrix-Dendrite server. Just don't really know the technical details in setting one up and don't feel confident enough to be able to pull it off.

     Currently i host: Misskey, nextcloud, an encrypted pastebin, and a PBX (3cx), and a minecraft/spigot server - all public.
