     @verge M1 Macs were simply too good + in the middle of pandemic PC boom.

     If you check absolute numbers, this quarter was still one of the best for Macs anyway 🤷♂️

     @verge m1 MacBook Air is what I still use. I’m extremely put off by the notch in the new laptops and don’t want to buy into that at all… it doesn’t serve a purpose that is truly valid. I’d rather them dump the crappy webcam that I never use then have a notch. That or at least add FaceID.

     This is a story of a company putting out *too good of a product at launch*.

     I'm typing this on my M1 Air and it is such a fantastic product that I'm not even a little bit tempted by new offerings. I hope Apple doesn't see this post because the temptation will be to nerf their devices to churn upgrades.

     I will buy the next Mac when I need a new 'puter. Don't hobble what works well now, Apple!
