As #English speakers, we tend to think that terminologies (especially in #tech) is the same in any other language, because after all it is not easy to have a direct translation over something new. Also, for hashtag purposes, keeping the most known terminology is advisable, like for example: #Fediverse.
But, it's a false assumption. If one wants to reach out, we need to find how the locals actually call it.
In Korean, I've seen these:
* “연합 우주에” / #연합우주에 #연합_우주에
* “연합우주” / #연합우주
Roughly translates to English as “Union Universe” or “United Space”.
Have you seen other translations of “Fediverse”?
