   What is the best way to make a thread post on Mastodon?

   Should I make multiple numbered responses on the original toot?

   Or, should I make each portion of the thread as an individual response to the response before it?

   So, make a bunch of numbered responses below the original toot or respond to each response in succession?

     Normally threads are made by posting something, then replying to yourself to add the next part of the thread, then replying to that reply to get the third part etc.
