This is why I always take unwanted floppies! ❤️
A kind person at the VCF swap meet donated some disks to me. One of them was TopDesk, a previously unarchived collection of early Macintosh desk accessories (think mini apps).
It's now preserved! 🥳💾

@spike the IMG file lost its resource / file info because I didn’t stuff the file. You can use ResEdit to manually add the file info back in.
This isn’t needed for emulators if you mount the disk image through the emulator program. But I’ll add a .sit / .mar file to the page when I can, it’s just a step that takes longer so I sometimes skip it.
@mac84tv FWIW, I downloaded the DiskCopy image and attempted to open it using DiskCopy 6.3.3 under MacOS 8.6 and it throws an error.
Is this a known issue with images made using older versions of DiskCopy?
Disk Copy 6.2 on System 7.5.3 gave me a warning, but the disk did mount and the properties appear to be OK.
(Although when downloading the file from the web, you may need to use ResEdit to add the Type / Creator)
@mac84tv I'm literally trying to mount it in an emulator. Nothing happens if I drop the .img or .dc42 file into SheepShaver or mini vMac. Disk Copy 4.2 and 6.3.3 running in the emulator says the image is corrupted. It's also reporting that the .dc42 file in the AppleSauce archive is also not readable. Can you tell me what steps you follow to load this archive into an emulator?
@spike FYI - I'm not ignoring the issue you're experiencing. The image does seem to be a bit wonky. I'm going to try and export it again and see if the same thing happens.
Thanks for the feedback! 👍
@spike FYI, it mounted fine in Mini vMac using this version (and an older version I had on my system). I was using the "Macintosh II" flavor of it:

I've also re-uploaded the .img file just in case it was somehow messed up. 🤞
