Figured I'd test out a couple other Mastodon clients/apps/whatever. Hyperspace looks great, except that the text is so tiny I'd have a headache in minutes, and I don't see a way to change it. (Even ctrl-+ in the window makes no difference.) Looks lovely though, and if it weren't for that, I'd probably use it. Single-column, not a huge number of options you have to mess with. #t2pub
@wlf_warren Do you mean the hashtag #t2pub ? Anyone can see that from anywhere.
If you mean, can we see pebble.social... we can see people with accounts on it the same way we see anyone else. But there is a "local" feed on pebble.social that (I think) you can only see if you have an account there.
I THINK that's how it works. That's what I'm understanding from explanations, at least.
> ut there is a "local" feed on pebble.social that (I think) you can only see if you have an account there.
This is correct, especially for mainline #Mastodon software.
There are forks of Mastodon, like #Qoto (see: https://qoto.org flagship server) where you can follow another instance's “Local timeline” without creating an account there.
The #Fediverse software #Firefish have an “Antenna” feature where you can list the instances you want to follow their “Local timeline” and see them as well.
I think there are other Fediverse software with a similar feature, just not the mainline Mastodon branch (and a few others).
