     @jeffowski Yep. One of my all-time favorite posts on the subject is, "If you want to be someone's ally but haven't been hit by the stones being thrown at them, you aren't yet standing close enough to them." I've never been able to identify for certain who originally said it, but it guides me in everyday life.

     One of the hallmarks of White Privilege is not recognizing it.

     Maybe do some research before you embarrass yourself, given you have an Australian flag.

     @jeffowski ive worked with people doing it tough that are white, asian, black and aboriginal. i dont believe white privlege is a thing at all in my country

     @jeffowski as I think about it, does that not apply to each privileged identity and not merely white people? I mean the same concept applies to men, able-bodied/able-minded, cis, etc with regard to women, disabled, trans, etc?
