   @rmondello Totally agree on mom. My mom runs Linux, and it always pains me to hear people say that.

   But same with congresspeople. They are pretty bad at tech, but a lot of this rhetoric about that fact misses that they are actually experts in what tech politics actually involves more than the details of Facebook: accumulating and wielding power.

     Please stop using “mom” as an example of an unsophisticated user of technology. This reinforces harmful stereotypes.

     Instead, I suggest using “congressperson”.
