   Now that YouTube is blocking adblockers I have a great tool for you to avoid this: The Privacy redirect extension for your browser

   With this all links to YT gets redirected to Invidious, an alternative frontend for YT videos. You get to see the same video, just without dealing with Google directly. So they can't track what you watch, and they can't stop you from watching it. And you don't have to do anything, just install this and you're good to go

     @Rush Cool, thanks! In many ways that looks even better, but unfortunately it doesn't support embedded YT videos, which Privacy redirect does. So maybe I'll keep uding PR for YT videos but also have libredirect installed for use with other services.

     @theDoctor @Rush That's strange, since the settings of the extension says that it does not support embeds, and I also tested it and it did not work. But in the settings you can select to block embeds, so maybe that's why you haven't seen any YT embeds?

     @Rush @forteller Dunno. I don't pay too much attention but I can't recall any embedded native YT videos appearing on anything I've seen for quite some time. Of course that doesn't prove anything but there you have it.

     @Rush @forteller I'm pretty sure it does. Using it myself and I seem to recall embedded videos being converted. Not always successfully but what can you do...

     @forteller the fact that there's embed settings made me believe it did, but a PR for that is probably possible ;)
